Multi-Layer Lenses & Base Tint Colors
The color of the lens tint determines what parts of the light spectrum that is absorbed by the lenses. These various tints provide different visual effects on your eye and can be used for different environmental conditions ranging from full sun to low and flat light environments.
Gray Tints Great all-purpose tint that reduce the overall amount of brightness with the least amount of color distortion. Gray lenses offer good protection against glare, making them a good choice for driving and general use.
High Definition Amber Good general purpose tint. Amber has the added benefit of reducing glare and have molecules that absorb higher frequency colors, such as blue, in addition to UV rays. There has been research that suggests that near-UV light frequencies such as blue and violet can contribute to the formation of cataracts over time.
The SKELETON™ EVO™ Lens is comprised of multiple layers. Each layer adds light filtering and color enhancement to produce the best quality optical experience possible. Because our lenses are optically correct your eye will relax when you wear our frames. This causes less fatigue and stress on the eye.
